Youth Group Christmas Dinner

Our Christmas Dinner will be held at the Honig's Home on Friday, December 17th at 6:00pm. Please look for an e-mail invitation with more details.

We will be having a White Elephant Gift Exchange at our Christmas Dinner. Please bring a wrapped gift to the party. (Please only spend a minimum of $10.00 or a maximum of $20.00 on the gift).

Parish Christmas Party

The Parish Christmas Party will be on Wednesday, December 15th at 6:00pm.

Matthew, Nikolai, and Andrew have volunteered to play Christmas songs on the Piano. Gregory has also volunteered to sing Christmas Music. If you are interested in performing any talent at the Christmas Party please contact Annalyse.

  1. T-Shirt Designs: Please bring your ideas for our 2011 shirts!!!
  2. The Harvest Festival is also tomorrow, and volunteers should be at the CSC at 1 PM. It lasts from 2-4.
  3. We will be voting on our Youth Group's President, Vice-President, and Secretary at this meeting. As a reminder, the nominees are:

Respect Life Sunday

This coming Sunday is Respect Life Sunday. All Youth Group Members are encouraged to attend the 10:00 Sunday Mass on the 3rd of October. Two members of our group will be lectors, Zak and Matthew. Relay for Life Information

Additional information:

  • Please bring comfortable, lightweight clothing, walking shoes, and warm clothes for the night. Please also bring a sleeping bag, pillow, and extra blankets.
  • Only water is allowed on the field and tent site (vendors are available outside the track for you to purchase snacks/meals). You may bring a cooler and have it checked at the food site.
  • All team members under 18 will be issued a wristband to help identify and track its registered participants.
  • Friends and family are encouraged to participate, but non-registered members under 18 (without wristbands) are not allowed into the event between 11 pm Friday to 7 am Saturday.

Relay for Life!

Youth Group will participate in the Tacoma Relay for Life on June 11-12, 6pm-6pm at Mt. Tahoma High School. This event gives everyone a chance to celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against the disease. At Relay, teams of people camp out at a local high school, park, or fairground and take turns walking or running around a track or path. Because cancer never sleeps, Relays are overnight events up to 24 hours in length. For more information, visit their website here.

Bake Sale at the Church!

UPDATE: We won't be able to do a bake sale after Mass because it involves a special/legal process. However, we can work around one way by scheduling a second offering during Mass that will go to charity--and afterwards hand out goodies as a 'thanks' to the parishioners.

Thanks to everyone who volunteered/helped out at the bake sale! Together we raised $500 for Catholic Relief Services to help those in Haiti and Chile.
